Steelhead LNG names new CFO

Steelhead LNG, a Vancouver-based energy company developing LNG projects in British Columbia, named Kerri Fox, former head of BBVA Securities’ project finance North America business, as a chief financial advisor.

Steelhead LNG, a Vancouver-based energy company developing LNG projects in British Columbia, named Kerri Fox, former head of BBVA Securities’ project finance North America business, as a chief financial advisor.

Fox brings more than 20 years of experience structuring and executing financings for energy and infrastructure projects in Canada, the United States and Latin America, including liquefied natural gas projects, Steelhead LNG said in its statement.

Fox will provide input and direction on Steelhead LNG’s project financing, contract structuring and risk mitigation strategies.

Prior to her role at BBVA Securities, Fox ran the global export and project finance business for Fortis Capital and held various roles in the structured and project finance group at Deutsche Bank. She began her career as a project finance attorney at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.

Currently, she serves on the board of directors of Alterra Power Group, and TerraForm Power.

Fox will be based out of Steelhead LNG’s corporate headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dale Hohm, the company’s former CFO, will continue to support Steelhead LNG, working alongside Fox.

To remind, Steelhead LNG is proposing to develop the Sarita LNG, and Malahat LNG projects in British Columbia, Canada.
