British multinational consultancy and engineering company Amec Foster Wheeler said it has won a five-year deal with a unit of the Hague-based LNG giant Shell.
Under the enterprise framework agreement, Amec Foster Wheeler will provide services for Shell Global Solutions International’s downstream projects worldwide.
For any deals resulting from the EFA, Amec Foster Wheeler will provide concept, front-end engineering, detailed design, procurement, and project and construction management services for refinery, chemical and upgrades projects, the company said.
The engineering company says its ‘More 4 Less’ lean engineering methodology would play an important role in the global framework, claiming that efficiencies from this methodology have delivered its customers savings of up to 60% in time and cost, compared to traditional approaches.
