Alpha Process Controls named Fraser Bennie, formerly responsible for business development at Damen Ship repair & Conversion, to lead the company’s international business activities.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, of which nearly 20 in LNG, Bennie will support Alpha Process Controls’ presence in the global LNG market through its systems, which deliver the transfer of hazardous chemicals, liquids and gasses, the company said in its statement.

Bennie was previously the After Market Customer Service Manager for LNG Carriers at Cryostar SAS, a position he took following a period as a project manager for the business.

During his time as the business developer at Damen Ship repair & Conversion, Bennie specialized in the field of LNG Carrier repairs and conversions.

Part of the Knorr-Bremse Group-owned GT Group, Alpha has developed its LNG transfer solutions for ship-to-ship, ship-to-shore, bunkering, FSRU, bulk break and road tanker operations.
