Houston-based LNG engineer KBR has signed a deal with Chevron to provide services for the energy giant in multiple global locations.
Under the ten-year master contract, KBR’s engineering offices in various global locations could provide Chevron with engineering and procurement services across all phases of the latter’s major capital projects program, KBR said in a statement on Thursday.
These services would range from field development planning and conceptual engineering, through front-end engineering design and final design.
The master contract advances the long-term relationship between KBR and Chevron, and “provides Chevron with targeted access to KBR’s engineering and procurement capabilities,” the statement said.
