Halliburton, one of the world’s largest oilfield service providers, has teamed up with two companies to form an alliance to provide Gulf of Mexico customers with integrated offshore well intervention packages.
Halliburton said on Thursday that the alliance was formed with Trendsetter Engineering, a provider of specialized subsea solutions to the offshore oil and gas industry, and C-Innovations, a marine transportation and solution provider.
The company added that the alliance would create combined packages of subsea solutions for hydraulic interventions which could improve operator efficiency.
Charles Kendrick , GOM region vice president for Halliburton, said: “By working together, we are able to provide customers with cross-discipline accountability for seamless and reliable operations. This model reduces interface demand for customers while delivering safe, efficient and economical results.”
According to Halliburton, the alliance builds on a track record of successful collaboration in the region and is well positioned to meet growing intervention market demands in the Gulf of Mexico.
Mario Lugo , chairman and CEO of Trendsetter, said: “To date, the alliance’s projects have included complex hydrate remediation, large acid stimulations, pipeline flushing, and inspection, maintenance, and repair work in water depths up to 10,000 feet.”
“Our newest vessel, the Island Venture, is considered the most capable multi-purpose supply vessel in the region and perhaps the world,” said Dino Chouest , CEO of C-Innovation.
“Outfitted with equipment from all three companies, the vessel meets most subsea work requirements,” he added.
