Norton Rose Fulbright adds LNG experience to Singapore office

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright expanded its shipping and offshore oil and gas team in the Singapore office.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright expanded its shipping and offshore oil and gas team in the Singapore office.

Jonathan Siu joins the firm as a senior associate, from Allen & Overy in Perth, Australia, bringing experience in a broad range of international transactions focusing primarily in the shipping, offshore and oil and gas sectors.

He acted on deals that include the Ichthys liquefied natural gas project, Norton Rose Fulbright said in a statement.

Siu’s appointment is effective April 2017.

Sung Hwan Choi joins the firm as of counsel, from Campbell Johnston Clark in Singapore, having previously been at Kim & Chang in Seoul.

Choi brings a wealth of knowledge, advising Korean and multinational clients in all aspects of shipping and offshore finance matters, the firm said, adding that his appointment is effective May 2017.
