COSCO Shipyard scores FSRU module contract

COSCO Shipping International said its unit, COSCO (Qidong) Shipyard has bagged a contract to build a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) module.

COSCO Shipping International said its unit, COSCO (Qidong) Shipyard has bagged a contract to build a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) module.

According to the company’s statement, the contract for the construction of the FSRU module was awarded by a European customer.

Neither the name of the customer nor the contract value has been disclosed.

COSCO Shipping International added that the module is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2018.
