MC Global Gas Corporation & Diamond Gas International have selected Sapient Global Markets as a system implementation partner for their LNG business.
The two units of Mitsubishi Corporation, have developed a new business model to export liquefied natural gas from the Cameron LNG terminal near the Gulf of Mexico.
As part of the new LNG project, MCGG and DGI aimed to select and implement an energy trading risk management (ETRM) platform, to support the entire LNG value chain, including procurement of feed gas, gas transportation and delivery to the Cameron LNG plant, as well as logistics for delivery to customer terminals, including vessel & voyage management, diversions, and schedule changes.
Speaking of the contract and the ETRM platform, Pawan Vaswani , director at Sapient Global Markets, said the platform will act as the backbone for the LNG export operations.
