Norwegian oil and gas inspection services provider Halfwave won two contracts from the Australian LNG player Woodside.
Under the agreement, Halfwave will provide pigging inspection services to the Pluto trunkline and Angel export pipeline, off Western Australia.
Woodside’s Pluto 36-inch, 180 km trunkline transports gas and condensate from the field to the 4.9 mtpa onshore LNG plant.
The Angel export pipeline delivers gas and condensate from the Angel platform to the North Rankin complex, from where it is further transported to the Karratha Gas Plant for processing.
Halfwave added it will perform integrity inspection of the two pipelines over a two-year period, using its technology for ultrasonic inspection of natural gas pipelines.
