Fugro has extended the firm contract with DOF for Skandi Olympia in the North Sea until end September 2018.
Skandi Olympia is a multipurpose field support vessel, configured by Fugro Subsea Services to carry out offshore infrastructure inspections.
Built in 2009, the 79.6 meters long vessel accommodates up to 44 personnel.
The vessel has purpose-built online inspection, survey & offline processing/ review offices.
With two Seaeye Lynx inspection class ROV systems and one 150 HP FCV 3000 work class ROV system permanently installed, the Skandi Olympia is configured to carry out the inspection of platforms, pipelines and subsea structures in water depths of up to 3,000 msw.
