Jan De Nul Group has shared a video from the recently completed dredging work in the Kingston Port, Jamaica.
Sodraco SAS, a subsidiary of JDN, was part of a consortium that was responsible for the expansion of the port.
For the Kingston dredging project, Jan De Nul mobilized six vessels; the cutter suction dredger Marco Polo with four accompanying split barges and the trailing suction hopper dredger Pedro Alvares Cabrál.
The dredging was carried out under phase one of the Kingston Container Terminal (KCT) expansion project, which is expected to be completed by December 2018, at a cost of approximately $150 million.
