Vietnamese offshore driller PV Drilling has reportedly found more work for the PV Drilling II jack-up drilling rig.

According to VesselsValue, the Vietnam-based company won a one-month deal with an undisclosed Japanese charterer for the PV Drilling II jack-up drilling rig.

The fixing date of the contract was Tuesday, January 9, with the deal scheduled to begin on March 1, 2018.

VesselsValue stated that the deal for the PV Drilling II would end on March 30, 2018.

No additional information regarding the deal was disclosed. The drilling location, as well as the financial details, remain unknown.

According to latest AIS data for the rig, dated January 10, the rig is currently located off the coast of Vietnam and is scheduled to arrive in port on January 24.

The PV Drilling II is a KFELS MOD V B-class Jack-up capable of operating in water depths up to 400 feet. The rig, built in 2009 by Keppel FELS Singapore, has a maximum drilling depth of 30,000 feet and can accommodate 120 people.

It is also worth reminding that the rig will work for three months with an undisclosed charterer from May 1 until July 31.
