Athens-based ship manager Thenamaris recently added three newbuilds to its fleet.
The new vessels include Suezmax tankers Seaviolet and Seavision and LPG carrier Seasuccess.
All of them were built at South Korean shipyards and fly the flag of Malta.
The 158,218 dwt Seaviolet was delivered to the company by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries this month. The 274-meter-long ship currently has a market value of USD 55.83 million, VesselsValue’s data shows.
Another Suezmax tanker, the 157,167 dwt Seavision, joined the Thenamaris managed fleet in January 2018. Built at the abovementioned shipyard, the newbuild is worth USD 56.51 million.
The third vessel, Seasuccess, was added to the Thenamaris LNG managed fleet at the end of January 2018. Constructed at Hyundai Mipo, the 38,000 cbm LPG carrier has a market value of USD 41.82 million.
Following the delivery of the vessel trio, Thenamaris’ fleet currently comprises more than 80 ships, including tankers, gas carriers, bulkers and containerships.
Thenamaris will welcome two more newbuilds in 2018, Seacharm, an Aframax tanker, and Seashine, an LPG vessel, according to the company’s website.
Its newbuilding fleet also includes two 111,900 dwt Aframax tankers ordered in 2017. Slated for delivery in 2020, the vessel pair is currently under construction at Japanese Sumitomo Heavy Industries.
