Solstad Farstad (SOFF) has entered into a contract with Fugro Netherlands Marine for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Flower, for operations in North European waters.
The contract has a firm duration of six months and it is planned to start at the end of March this year, the company informed.
“ We experience an increasing demand for CSV tonnage in the North Sea and we are very pleased to be awarded our second vessel contract with Fugro, ” said Hans Knut Skår , EVP – Subsea Constructions & Renewable Energy of Solstad Farstad.
The Normand Flower, with an overall length of 93 meters, is equipped with a 150-ton active heave compensated crane, a helideck and a working moonpool.
The vessel can accommodate 85 people onboard.
