Taylor Hopkinson has won the on-site Quality Services tender to supply personnel for the 714MW East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea.

The company will provide ScottishPower Renewables with personnel across all packages, such as foundations, turbines and offshore transmission which will include site quality/inspection supervision, quality management, and fabrication supervision.

Neil Brown , Senior Consultant for Offshore/Onshore Wind at Taylor Hopkinson, said: “We’ve been supporting the business and following the progress of East Anglia ONE for over 6 years so it’s great to see it finally happening and we’re excited to be involved in the delivery phase.”

The two companies have already worked together, with Taylor Hopkinson having supported ScottishPower Renewables to build out its teams for West of Duddon Sands, Wikinger and Saint Brieuc offshore wind farms.

Located 43km off the Suffolk Coast, East Anglia ONE will consist of 102 Siemens 7MW wind turbines scheduled to be fully commissioned in 2020.
