Reach Subsea has entered into short term contracts for three vessels Havila Subsea, Edda Fonn and Olympic Delta in the North Sea.

The contracts cover in total 100 firm vessel spread days and approximately 50 optional days.

The contracts, for undisclosed oil companies and international contractors, will be executed in Q2 2018, the company said.

Jostein Alendal , CEO Reach Subsea said: “As expected, the market is still dominated by low visibility and short lead time from contract award until project execution. It is a pleasure to note that we expand our position as a competitive and flexible quality service provider to current and new clients.”

The first vessel, Havila Subsea, is an IMR and light construction vessel chartered by Reach Subsea in March 2017. Havila Subsea is equipped with a 150 T AHC main crane, a clear deck area of 600 m2, enclosed hangar with 2 x ROV handling systems and a 7.2×7.2 meters moonpool.

Edda Fonn, the second vessel that will be used for work in the North Sea, has a length of 84.7 meters and a beam of 18 meters, and is capable to provide IMR, survey and light construction services.

The final vessel, Olympic Delta, is a DP2 multi purpose support vessel suitable for launch and recovery operation, for example with ROVs, ROTVs AUVs and geotechnical equipment. The vessel is equipped with a 80 T offshore crane with a working depth of 2500 meters.
