MMT Extends Stril Explorer Charter with Møkster

Simon Møkster Shipping has secured charter contract extension for Multi Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) Stril Explorer from MMT AB.

The vessel has been on contract to MMT since April 2014, and now the contract has been extended for further 18 months.

The vessel will be used in various survey related projects with MMT, Møkster noted.

MV Stril Explorer is a DP2 vessel with a large open deck suitable for launch and recovery operation.

It can be fitted with two work ROVs and one observation/medium class ROV all in hangars with side doors.

The vessel is equipped with a 60 T offshore crane with a working depth of 1500 m.
