Portugal-based engineering consultancy Cruz Atcheson has announced the expansion of its Lisbon premises to prepare for the ongoing recruitment drive.

Cruz Atcheson said it is currently doubling the floorspace capacity of its industrial themed offices in Portugal’s capital Lisbon having secured a range of projects to support its revenue stream for the upcoming years.

The recruitment drive is expected to contribute especially to the growth of the load analysis, mechanical and structural engineering teams, with a strong component of software development, concept design and technical due diligence.

In connection with these developments, Joao Cruz , Co-founder and Director of Cruz Atcheson, said:

“Having secured a large number of multi-year contracts, we are now ready to welcome new starters to our growing Lisbon base. We are particularly keen to continue to create a unique blend of experience and boldness in our team, which we believe is crucial to ensure that our clients receive both innovative and technically sound solutions.”

The company offers a mix of technical and strategic work that spans across the wave, tidal and floating wind fields.

Clients include governmental agencies, emerging wave and tidal technology developers and leading wind OEMs around the world.

Recent engagements include the technical leadership of a structural material project under the Wave Energy Scotland program, and the strategic review of the Atlantic Marine Energy Test Site (AMETS) for the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
