Offshore Wind Consultants Limited (OWC) has secured a contract to provide project management services for innogy’s 860MW Triton Knoll offshore wind farm project.

OWC will carry out the work with personnel from its office in London, UK. The contract value is undisclosed.

This contract award by Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm Limited follows similar work which has been delivered by OWC for previous innogy projects such as Gwynt y Môr, Nordsee Ost and Galloper offshore wind farms.

“We are delighted to be supporting the Triton Knoll project at this important stage of the project and it continues a longstanding relationship with innogy projects here in the UK and also in Germany,” said Ian Bonnon , managing director of OWC.

The Triton Knoll wind farm will comprise 90 MHI Vestas 9.5MW wind turbines installed some 32 kilometres off the Lincolnshire coast.

The project is now preparing for the start of construction of its onshore electrical system works this summer, having secured a Contract for Difference from the UK Government in September 2017.
