Mackley today presented a whistle-stop tour of the Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls scheme, which is being carried out by the company as part of Team Van Oord and on behalf of the Environment Agency.
Work on project started in October 2016, and when complete the scheme will significantly reduce flood risk to more than 2,300 properties in Shoreham and East Lancing.
The scheme will also protect important local infrastructure such as the road network, railway line and Shoreham Airport.
Mackley expects that the £31 million project will be completed by the end of 2018.
