Dormac Durban Wraps Up Work on WID Sagar Manthan

Dormac Durban recently completed work on the Sagar Manthan, a water injection dredging vessel (WID).

During the work, the Sagar Manthan received a dry docking where the tail shafts were replaced with two brand new tail shafts and two spare propellers.

The sea chests, overboard valves and bow thruster were overhauled whilst the Port and Starboard jet pumps were repaired.

Seven box coolers were removed, cleaned and overhauled whilst several pipes were renewed.

According to the Dormac’s announcement, the vessel also underwent general steelwork, blasting and painting.
