Liquefied natural gas exports from the U.S. decrease week over week, data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows.

During the week ending February 27, eight vessels departed the U.S. liquefied natural gas export projects.

Data shows that six vessels departed from the Cheniere’s Sabine Pass export facility in Louisiana and one from Dominion’s Cove Point and Cheniere’s Corpus Christi plants each.

The total LNG-carrying capacity of the eight vessels was 27.9 Billion cubic feet.

The natural gas feedstock to the LNG terminals edged up during the week under review, averaging 5.2 Bcf/d, compared to 4.8 Bcf/d last week, EIA said.
