The United Kingdom’s two liquefied natural gas imports terminals on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway are set to receive three cargoes in the coming days.
The first delivery will be made onboard the 210,000-cbm Q-Flex LNG vessel Al Karaana on March 15 to the South Hook LNG terminal. The cargo is arriving from the Qatari Ras Laffan LNG complex, the Milford Haven Port Authority data shows.
The Dragon LNG terminal will receive a cargo on the same day. The 135,000-cbm LNG Rivers carrier is transporting a Nigerian cargo.
On March 17, the South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to unload another Qatari cargo when the Q-Max Al Mayeda is scheduled to dock at the facility.
The fourth cargo is scheduled for delivery on March 21 to the Dragon LNG terminal. BW LNG’s 173,400-cbm BW Tulip under contract with Total is transporting the cargo.
Although the shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority is not showing the origin of the cargo, VesselsValue data shows the BW Tulip last week sailed to the port of Honningsvag in northern Norway where the cargoes from the Novatek-led Yamal LNG project have been transshipped for further delivery to Europe and other destinations.
