Hydro Group Appoints Japanese Distributor

Hydro Group has established a new partnership with Japanese electrical and optical products company Riken Dengu Seizo, who will become its official distributor in Japan.

The Tokyo-headquartered firm will be the official distributor and business partner for Hydro Group’s subsea connectivity product range, including subsea electrical/optical cables and connection assemblies.

Heather Andrade , head of Sales at Hydro Group, said: “ The appointment of Riken Dengu Seizo as Hydro Group’s preferred business partner in Japan is an important milestone for us, as they have a wealth of local knowledge and a strong track record of assisting international manufacturers.

“We are excited to be opening new trading avenues following a successful year of export and are looking forward to bringing in new business together in the years to come.”

Hydro Group’s product range will be offered by chief of Sales and Marketing, Takayuki Higuchi, field application engineer, Yuji Yamamoto and Sales and Marketing team member Ryouichi Tani.

Takayuki Higuchi , chief of Sales and Marketing at Riken Dengu Seizo Co., Ltd, added: “We are always looking to capitalize on new opportunities and our new partnership with Hydro Group will significantly broaden the range of subsea connectivity solutions we can offer our customers.”
