Ultra Deep Solutions’ (UDS) Diving Support Construction Vessel ‘Van Gogh’ has left China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) yard.
According to UDS’ social media update, the Van Gogh will head straight to work for undisclosed clients.

For us to constantly bring out high specification diving vessels to the industry has helped us now become a forefront leader. We will not stop at just 5 vessels as we now have a huge demand from oil majors for our quality.
“We now look ahead to our phase of ‘Hybrid’ diving vessel builds,” said Shel Hutton , CEO of Ultra Deep Solutions.
The 111.5 meters long Van Gogh is equipped with 18-men single bell saturation system for depth down to 300 meters. The vessel has its own moonpool, an air diving system, and it is fitted with an observation remotely operated vehicle with LARS.
The vessel was built at CMHI yard in Shenzhen to a new green design by Marin Teknikk with diesel electric frequency controlled propulsion, azimuth thrusters, dynamic positioning system and 150t offshore crane.
