Geoquip Marine has completed maintenance and upgrades of its 4 point moored shallow water geotechnical vessel, the Investigator.
After completing numerous offshore wind farm projects in Japan and Taiwan, the vessel was put in to dry dock to receive a fresh coat of paint, meanwhile upgrading the accommodation and amenity quarters.
The geotechnical spread was also upgraded, to ensure Investigator is operationally ready to meet geotechnical site investigation requirements in years to come, the company noted.
The refreshed Investigator is currently on its way to the Gulf of Mexico to work on various projects.
