Liquefied natural gas exports from the United States have increased during the previous week, the data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows.

According to EIA, a total of eight vessels departed the U.S. LNG export facilities with a combined carrying capacity of 28.4 Billion cubic feet. This compares to five cargoes in the previous week.

Five cargoes departed Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility during the week ending April 24, with one cargo departing the company’s Corpus Christi plant.

The remaining two cargoes have been shipped from Dominion’s Cove Point LNG facility.

The natural gas feedstock to the LNG export facilities averaged 5.1 Bcf/d during the week under review rising slightly from 4.8 Bcf/d recorded in the week prior.
