Olympic Subsea Secures Vessel Work in Renewables Market

Olympic Subsea has entered into an agreement with Adwen GmbH, a subsidiary of Siemens Gamesa, for the multipurpose offshore vessel Olympic Orion. Olympic Subsea has entered into an agreement with Adwen GmbH, a subsidiary of Siemens Gamesa, for the multipurpose offshore vessel Olympic Orion.

The contract period is firm for six months with further options, and it is expected to start in Q2 2019.

Olympic Orion is equipped with gangway system, 100 ton crane and accommodation module to perform projects on wind farms in the North Sea and Baltic Sea.

“ We see it as at great confidence statement from one of the largest players within the offshore windmill industry and we look forward to developing our relationship with Siemens, ” said Stig Remøy , Olympic CEO.
