Announcement of the launching of Lebanon’s Second Offshore Licensing Round

The Lebanese Republic’s Minister of Energy and Water announces the launch of Lebanon’s second offshore licensing round and the opening of the process for receiving Licensing Round Applications by the Lebanese Petroleum Administration.

The Minister invites oil and gas companies interested in participating in the licensing round to present their Applications as per the provisions stipulated in the Tender Protocol (issued by Decree 4918/2019) by Friday 31 January 2020 before 4:00 PM Beirut time.

The blocks open for bidding are Blocks 1, 2, 5, 8 and 10 which are delineated as per Decree 42/2017.

The pre-qualified Applicants will be announced up to four weeks after 31/1/2020, and the winning Applicants will be announced up to seven weeks after the aforementioned date.

الاعلان عن إطلاق دورة التراخيص الثانية في المياه البحرية اللبنانية

يُعلن وزير الطاقة والمياه في الدولة اللبنانية عن إطلاق دورة التراخيص الثانية في المياه البحرية اللبنانية ومباشرة هيئة إدارة قطاع البترول باستقبال طلبات الاشتراك في دورة التراخيص، ويدعو شركات النفط والغاز الراغبة في الاشتراك في دورة .التراخيص الى تقديم طلباتها وفقاً لما هو منصوص عليه في دفتر الشروط الصادر بموجب المرسوم 2019/4918، وذلك قبل الساعة الرابعة بتوقيت بيروت من بعد ظهر يوم الجمعة الموافق فيه تاريخ

.إنّ الرقع المعروضة للمزايدة هي: 1-2-5-8 و 10 من بين الرقع البحرية المحددة بموجب المرسوم 2017/42. سوف يتمّ الاعلان عن مقدمي الطلبات الذين يتمّ تأهيلهم مسبقًا خلال أربعة أسابيع على الأكثر من تاريخ 2020/1/31، والاعلان عن مقدمي الطلبات الفائزين خلال سبعة أسابيع على الأكثر من هذا التاريخ. للمزيد من التفاصيل وللاطلاع على إجراءات الاشتراك في دورة التراخيص الثانية يُراجع
