Greek dry bulk vessel owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Hong Kong-based Ausca Shipping Limited for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the Selina.
The gross charter rate for the 75,700 dwt bulker is USD 11,750 per day for a period of minimum seven to maximum nine months.
The charter commenced on July 15, 2019.
This employment of the 2010-built ship is anticipated to generate approximately USD 2.47 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter, the company said.
Selina previously worked for Hong Kong’s BG Shipping at a gross charter rate of USD 12,250 per day.
Diana Shipping’s fleet currently comprises 44 dry bulk vessels. As of today, the combined carrying capacity of the company’s fleet is approximately 5.4 million dwt with a weighted average age of 9.28 years.
