Solstad Secures Contract Extension for CSV Far Sentinel

Solstad Offshore (SOFF) and Subtec have agreed to extend the contract for the construction support vessel (CSV) ‘Far Sentinel’.

The contract extension is for 2,5 years, the company informed.

The vessel operates in Mexico.

The duration of the contract is now firm until December 31, 2022, plus two yearly options thereafter.

The Far Sentinel has been on contract to Subtec since 2015.

Far Sentinel, specially designed for installation and maintenance in deep waters, has a length of 142.6 and a beam of 25 meters.

The vessel was built by Vard Langsteen Shipyard in 2015.
