UK construction company VINCI Construction has been awarded a contract to build an LNG tank in Canada.
A joint venture between Entrepose Contracting and VINCI Construction Grands Projets, both unit of VINCI Construction, were awarded a major contract worth $306 million.
The contract covers the engineering, procurement and construction of a 225,000 cbm LNG tank in Canada, without revealing further project details.
According to a statement by VINCI Construction, the delivery of the tank will occur within the next four years.
VINCI Construction has built 14 LNG tanks throughout the world over the last ten years. Recently, VINCI Construction completed major LNG tank projects like the Yamal LNG in Russia and Wheatstone Project in Australia.
