DEME Group’s jack-up vessel Innovation is undergoing a major maintenance and repair program at the Damen Verolme yard in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
According to DEME, the program is almost completed and saw the installation of two new leg sections on the offshore installation vessel.
After the extensive dry dock, Innovation will set sail to the SeaMade offshore wind project in Belgium where it will be in charge of installing 58 monopile foundations.
The 487MW project is located up to 50km off the coast from Ostend and will integrate two wind sites known as Mermaid and Seastar.
