Damen Shipyards Antalya has floated out HST Harri, High Speed Transfers’ (HST) FCS 2710 class fast crew supply vessel.

The vessel will now undergo final outfitting and commissioning ahead of the delivery which is scheduled for September.

Following the delivery, the FCS 2710 class Damen crew supply vessel will start a five-year charter with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind on the 219MW Northwester 2 offshore wind farm in the Belgian North Sea.

HST Euan , HST’s fourth FCS 2710, will also be deployed by MHI Vestas on Northwester 2 once delivered in November.

The FCS 2710 series has retained the twin, axe bow hull design of its predecessor FCS 2610, but with being both one meter longer and higher, the vessels can now operate in wave heights of above two meters.

The FCS 2710 is capable of carrying 26 passengers, twice more than the previous FCS 2610 design.
