Nine bidders qualify for Pakistan LNG spot cargoes tender

State-owned Pakistan LNG’s tender for ten liquefied natural cargoes for October-December delivery received a lot of interest from market players.

State-owned Pakistan LNG’s tender for ten liquefied natural cargoes for October-December delivery received a lot of interest from market players.

According to Pakistan LNG tender document, nine companies qualify to supply the cargoes.

Among the qualified bidders are Vitol, BB Energy, Gunvor, Trafigura, DXT Commodities as well as JERA, PetroChina, SOCAR and Eni.

In its initial tender document, Pakistan LNG said it is looking for four cargoes to be delivered in October and December each and two cargoes to be delivered in November.

Each cargo will have to have a quantity of 140,000 standard cubic meters of LNG and will be delivered to the BW’s FSRU BW Integrity with a storage capacity in excess of 170,000 cubic meters has a peak regasification capacity of 750 million standard cubic feet per day.
