U.S. LNG exports edge up for second week running

Liquefied natural gas exports from the U.S. increased for the second week in a row, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Liquefied natural gas exports from the U.S. increased for the second week in a row, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

EIA stated in its weekly report that twelve LNG vessels, seven from Sabine Pass, three from Corpus Christi, one from Cove Point, and one from Cameron LNG departed from the United States between September 19 and September 25.

The twelve vessels held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 44 bcf.

It is worth noting that two vessels and one at Cameron LNG were loading on Wednesday, September 25.
