Nexans Skagerrak, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexans Norway, has declared a charter extension for the CSV Polar King with GC Rieber Shipping.
The five-month extension makes the charter firm until July 2020.
This comes after the previous charter extension by four months, announced in October.
The extended period was in direct continuation of the charter which started in January 2017.
The Polar King is a multipurpose subsea vessel specially designed for operation under severe weather conditions with high manoeuvrability and station keeping capabilities.
The vessel provides services including offshore construction (CSV), inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) operations.
