Solstad and SBM Agree Normand Installer Extension

Solstad Offshore has secured a charter extension deal with SBM Offshore for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Installer. The extension follows the frame agreement from August 2018, under which SBM committed to charter the Normand Installer for 105 days in 2020. The new deal will now see

Solstad Offshore has secured a charter extension deal with SBM Offshore for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Installer.

The extension follows the frame agreement from August 2018, under which SBM committed to charter the Normand Installer for 105 days in 2020.

The new deal will now see SBM take the vessel on a 1-year contract from January 2020, in direct continuation with present contract.

The Normand Installer is a deepwater construction vessel and has been on a similar contracts with SBM since it was delivered from the Ulstein yard in 2006.

The 124-meter vessel is jointly owned by SBM and Solstad Offshore.
