U.S. LNG exports rise on week

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States increased week on week, Energy Information Administration said in its report on Thursday.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States increased week on week, Energy Information Administration said in its report on Thursday.

EIA stated in its weekly report that fourteen LNG vessels, seven from Sabine Pass, two each from Corpus Christi, Cameron LNG, and Freeport, and one from Cove Point departed from the United States between December 5 and December 11.

The thirteen vessels held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 51.0 bcf.

The EIA also stated that two vessels were loading on Wednesday, December 11 – one each at Sabine Pass, and Cove Point.

The Administration added that Elba Island LNG, after commissioning the first 5 of its 10 small liquefaction trains, was reportedly loading its first export cargo .
