Spanish LNG services provider HAM Group has acquired the Basque company FNX Liquid Natural Gas, company focused on the design, manufacturing and installation of small-scale natural gas liquefaction facilities.

Its expertise includes LNG facilities and equipment for processing/ treatment of natural gas from wells and other sources.

Unlike most other LNG equipment suppliers, FNX has its own manufacturing facilities located in the North of Spain, HAM Group said in its statement.

With the incorporation of FNX Liquid Natural Gas to HAM Group, the latter’s expansion plan in South America is reinforced, where it is already present through our units HAM Peru and HAM Chile.

HAM Group added it will be able to provide services including liquefaction as well as storage and transport solutions in cryogenic tanks.
