Sakhalin 2 floats two-cargo tender

Russia’s first liquefaction plant, Sakhalin 2, operated by Sakhalin Energy, has reportedly floated a tender seeking to sell two cargoes of the chilled fuel.

Sakhalin 2 floats two-cargo tender

Russia’s first liquefaction plant, Sakhalin 2, operated by Sakhalin Energy, has reportedly floated a tender seeking to sell two cargoes of the chilled fuel.

Citing sources, Reuters reports that the two cargoes are loading in February.

The slots on offer are February 26 and February 28, with the tender closing on Wednesday, January 15.

The Sakhalin-2 LNG facility has currently two liquefaction trains with a capacity of about 10 million tons per annum.

The LNG plant’s operator, Sakhalin Energy is owned by Russian gas giant Gazprom with major shareholder Royal Dutch Shell.
