Exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States’ facilities increased over the week ending January 22.
A total of 15 liquefied natural gas carriers with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 54 Bcf departed the U.S. export facilities during the week under review, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said.
This compares to 14 vessels with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 51 billion cubic feet exported in the previous week.
Out of the 15 cargoes, seven have been shipped from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility, four from Cameron LNG plant, two from Corpus Christi and one from each Cove Point and Freeport.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals remained flat compared to the previous week reaching 8.2 Bcf/day.
