Exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States’ facilities dropped during the week ending February 5.
A total of 17 liquefied natural carriers with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 62 Bcf departed the United States between January 30 and February 5, 2020.
Data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that out of the 17 cargoes, eight were shipped from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG plant.
Three additional cargoes departed the Corpus Christi and Freeport LNG facilities each, while two left Cameron LNG plant and one departed Cove Point.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals edged up compared to the previous week reaching 9.3 Bcf/day, up from 9.2 Bcf/d.
