Liquefied natural gas exports from the United States slipped over the week ending April 8.
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) noted in its weekly report that a total of twelve LNG cargoes departed the export facilities.
The twelve vessels had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 42 Bcf.
Out of the twelve cargoes, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass in Louisiana exported five cargoes. Cheniere dispatched an additional two cargoes from its Corpus Christi plant in Texas.
Dominion’s Cove Point and the Sempra-led Cameron LNG facility shipped two cargoes each. Freeport LNG facility shipped a single cargo during the week under review.
According to EIA this was the lowest number of cargoes shipped in one week since the start of the year.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals slipped for the week. Pipeline deliveries reached 8.6 Bcf/d, down from 9.6 Bcf in the previous week.
