U.S. weekly offshore rig count inches down

The U.S. active offshore rig count last week dropped by one unit compared to the previous week, Baker Hughes Company said on Friday in its weekly rig count report.

The U.S. active offshore rig count last week dropped by one unit compared to the previous week, Baker Hughes Company said on Friday in its weekly rig count report.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. -57 to 408 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 57 rigs from last week to 408, with oil rigs down 53 to 325, gas rigs down 4 to 81, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 2.

U.S. Rig Count is down 582 rigs from last year’s count of 990, with oil rigs down 482, gas rigs down 102, and miscellaneous rigs up 2 to 2.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 16 and down 4 year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada +1 rigs to 27 rigs

Canada Rig Count is up 1 rig from last week to 27, with oil rigs down 1 to 7 and gas rigs up 2 to 20.

Canada Rig Count is down 34 rigs from last year’s count of 61, with oil rigs down 10 and gas rigs down 24.
