Wison Offshore & Marine has secured approval in principle from DNV GL for its 200,000-cbm LNG carrier design.
.Wison’s design has an overall length of 300 meters and features GTT’s Mark-III FLEX containment system and WinGD’s dual-fuel engine.
The company has already developed an FLNG facility and barge-based FSRU. It said it has extended its product pipeline with the design of the LNG carrier.
Wison cooperated with DNV GL, GTT and MARIC in the concept design.
An Wenxin , chief operating officer of Wison Offshore & Marine also noted the company is aiming to become a one-stop service in the LNG industry.
