Pipeshield has strengthened its Baltic Sea operations by establishing a supply base at Mukran Port on the Island of Rügen.
The decision follows delivery of several projects from Mukran Port over the last 18 months.
Tekmar ’s subsea asset protection specialist will utilise the ports transport connections via road, rail and sea.
The base will also take advantage of the ports geographical position between Central Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic region and Russia.
The port has already proved its efficiency during the construction of offshore wind farms Wikinger, Baltic 2 and Arkona Becken.
In cooperation with the port, Pipeshield has access to onsite office facilities and manufacturing capability.
As a result, operators in the Baltic should benefit from Pipeshield’s project cost and logistical optimisation.
Project Management & onsite manufacturing will be fully under Pipeshield supervision and in accordance to its quality management system.
