Norwegian engineering company Aker Solutions has said that Ole Martin Grimsrud will resign as its chief financial officer (CFO).

Grimsrud will leave the company 1 September 2020 to pursue other opportunities, Aker Solutions said Tuesday.

Aker Solutions appointed Grimsrud as chief financial officer in August 2019.

He replaced Svein Oskar Stoknes, who is took over as CFO of Aker ASA.

Grimsrud joined Aker Solutions in 2012 as vice president, Finance for the subsea business.

He has held several senior management positions in the company since, including senior vice president, Group treasury, controlling and mergers & acquisitions.

He previously held various positions within finance, strategy and operations in the Norwegian industrial groups Elkem and Norske Skog.

Aker Solutions has initiated the process of finding his successor and Grimsrud will continue in his current role during his notice period, or until a successor is in place.
