Ørsted has launched a recruitment campaign that will see the offshore wind developer employing 23 wind turbine technicians.

The new employees will work out of the East Coast Hub in Grimsby on Ørsted’s offshore wind farms, including Hornsea Project Two.

“Over half of Ørsted’s Grimsby based employees work as wind turbine technicians and are located at the East Coast Hub, the world’s largest operations and maintenance facility. With over 80% of the workforce living within an hour’s drive of the facility, Ørsted encourages local talent to apply for roles within the organisation” , the company said.

Each of the new technicians will work on Ørsted’s east coast wind farms with a number being sited at the 1.4 GW Hornsea Two offshore wind farm, which is currently under construction.

Those interested in applying for the role can do so via Ørsted’s vacancy page on their website.
