MingYang Smart Energy has installed the first turbine at the Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait offshore wind project in China.
MingYang will deliver 22 MySE7.0-158 turbines with a rated power of 7 MW and rotor diameter of 158 meters for the Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait offshore wind project.
The 300 MW wind farm is being developed by China Huadian Corporation and is the company’s first offshore wind project.
It is located near the shore off the northeast part of Longgao peninsula, Fuqing county, where the average annual wind speed is 9.2m/s.
